“Businesses are seeking new ways to innovate with generative AI, optimise important workflows, and improve everyday experiences for customers,” said Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian.
“Through our expanded strategic partnership with ServiceNow, customers will now have the data foundation, development platforms, and leading foundation models to easily build GenAI applications that leverage the context and knowledge in ServiceNow–all on top of Google Cloud’s AI-optimised infrastructure,” he added.
Additionally, CRM, IT Service Management (ITSM), and Security Incident Response (SIR) solutions will be available on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) to meet regulatory requirements.
ServiceNow users will gain access to BigQuery, enabling them to connect enterprise data, automate workflows, and improve decision-making. Integration with Google Workspace will let users access ServiceNow data directly in Sheets and Chat.
Speaking with AIM earlier, ServiceNow India MD Sumeet Mathur explained why everyone wants to partner with ServiceNow instead of competing with them. For context, most Indian IT companies, the big techs of the world, and even companies like Databricks and Snowflake have partnered with the company in recent years.
ServiceNow has been actively working in AI for over a decade, making the transition to GenAI an incremental step rather than a leap. Three years ago, ServiceNow acquired Element AI, which laid the foundation for its advancements in LLMs. “Our GenAI offerings are persona-focused,” Mathur explained, emphasising tailored solutions for employees, agents, and developers.
