OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has announced a new feature for the chatbot, a feature that enables ChatGPT to perform tasks for you.
The feature is called, well, “Tasks” and will be rolling out as a beta feature to ChatGPT Pro, Plus, and Teams users over the next few days.
According to the company, the new feature will enable ChatGPT to do things for you in the future.
These include weekly global news briefings to reminding you, say, when the tickets for the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie you have been waiting for to go on sale.
The company says, “think of tasks as scheduled ChatGPT prompt.”
What is ChatGPT Tasks?
While ChatGPT is already helpful, the new Tasks feature seems like the next step: AI is doing the work for you.
